Role of the Teachers

The primary role of the teachers of the Arts World Wide curriculum is that of an environment-setter who enables and encourages the students to become self-directed learners. This will involve presenting the students with challenging learning tasks, demonstrate techniques and methods necessary to effectively engage in problem-solving, and serving as a facilitator and mentor for all of the students. Once the students are engaged in working on their projects, it is suggested that the teachers circulate throughout the classroom, answer questions, provide direction, and offer encouragement to all the students.
